Sandra, Samuel and their visually impaired son Daniel have been living in a remote chalet in the French Alps for a year. When Samuel is found dead under suspicious circumstances, Sandra is charged. Was his fall a fatal accident, suicide or was he pushed by his wife? In the court case that follows, their relationship is analyzed in painful detail.
Sandra Hüller stars in this exciting mix of love drama and court thriller. She turned out to be the big star at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. Anatomy of a Fall won the Palme d’Or, but Jonathan Glazer’s Holocaust film The Zone of Interest, in which Hüller plays a wonderful role, also won the Grand Prix.
