IABR: Nature Of Hope
Een speciaal shorts programma in samenwerking met IABR, tijdens het ‘closing weekend’ van de biënnale. In de context van de klimaatcrisis en de uitputting van natuurlijke hulpbronnen, zoekt de architectuur antwoord op de vraag: hoe kunnen we bouwen met respect voor onze natuurlijke omgeving? Nature of Hope richt zich op manieren waarop ruimtelijk ontwerp kan bijdragen aan behoud van natuur en biodiversiteit, herstel van ecologisch evenwicht en maatschappelijke verbetering. Voorbeelden hiervan bestaan al over de hele wereld en bieden hoop voor nieuwe manieren van denken en handelen in de architectuur.

In the context of the climate crisis and the depletion of natural resources, architecture is searching for an answer to the question of how to build with respect for our natural environment. Nature of Hope focuses on how spatial design can contribute to the preservation of nature and biodiversity, the restoration of ecological balance, and social improvement.
