John Kameel Farah combineert piano met synthesizers en elektronica tot een uniek geluid dat hij “Baroque-Middle-Eastern-Cyberpunk” noemt. Zijn concerten zijn avontuurlijke muzikale reizen vol improvisatie, ritmes en soundscapes, waarin eeuwenoude motieven samenkomen met futuristische klanken.
Geïnspireerd door culturele herinnering, vrijheid en mythen uit het Midden-Oosten, creëert hij betoverende muzikale landschappen. Farah studeerde aan de University of Toronto, won tweemaal de Glenn Gould Composition Award, en speelde o.a. met Tangerine Dream en in de Berliner Philharmonie. Hij werkt nu aan een pianoconcert voor het National Arts Centre Orchestra (2025).

He’s currently composing a piano concerto for the National Arts Centre Orchestra (2025).
